The conservatory at the NY Botanical Garden is hosting an orchid show. I wandered through rooms of lush rainforest filled with orchids. The scent floating in the air in the last room is a favorite. It wasn't an orchid. The ordinary jasmine plant with its beautiful fragrance. I stopped to talk to a staff member with clippers and gloves who helps to create this dreamy world.
I’d love to see photos of the orchid show. Think about adding them. Yesterday I wrote about visiting a botanical garden in Thailand and an orchid-themed restaurant. I included lots of photos.
