Flowers

I am so lucky to be able to walk outside and cut these daffodils when they appear. I planted a few more bulbs in the fall. I'm looking forward to seeing them come up.

One August summer, a friend told me to come over while she was away and cut as many flowers as I wanted. They would all be past their prime when she returned. She had a beautiful, big cutting garden properly fenced to keep the deer away.

It was heavenly.
